Hurricane Plan/Guarantee
2008 Hurricane Plan & Insurance Program
At Peter Hughes Diving, Inc. and the Dancer Fleet we want you to have a worry free, safe and fun dive vacation. We understand that you have a limited amount of vacation time each year and want to use it wisely.
From June 01 to November 30th, the waters of the Atlantic & Caribbean are some of the warmest, clearest & calmest, therefore they offer some of the best diving conditions available all year. However, these are also the dates of the "official hurricane season". Since hurricanes and tropical storms are unlikely and unpredictable events, particularly far into the future when you are first planning your vacation, we have created the following policy to help provide some peace of mind.
Trip Interruption and Cancellation Insurance:
We highly recommend that you purchase Trip Interruption and Cancellation Insurance for all of your planned Dancer Fleet Travels. This type of policy protects you from financial disappointment created by numerous unforeseen circumstances that may cause you to cancel or interrupt your trip. This includes hurricanes.
To help give you the peace of mind provided by this coverage, Peter Hughes Diving has designated select departures in August, September and October as “Rest Easy” charters. Any trip booked on a designated “Rest Easy” charter includes DAN Travel Insurance as part of the trip package.
To activate your DAN Travel Insurance all you need to do is to complete the “DAN Travel Insurance Registration Form” and return it to the Peter Hughes Office. Your policy will be activated 48-72 hours after receipt.

all of the terms and conditions of this offer.
Hurricane Plan:
In the event any Dancer Fleet vessel is within the predicted track of any officially named Hurricane or Tropical Storm, (as predicted by NOAA) all passengers will be disembarked from the vessel in question at least twenty-four [24] hours prior to the predicted landfall of the Hurricane or Tropical Storm. Passengers will be accommodated ashore, at the discretion of the captain and at the expense of Peter Hughes Diving, Inc., at a place determined to be a safe haven depending upon location in question. Peter Hughes Diving, Inc. will not supply any alcoholic beverages during the time ashore, not from aboard the vessel and not from the shore accommodation.
The above programs were created by Peter Hughes Diving, Inc. to provide our valued guests peace of mind, financial protection, and safety.
